Guidelines

These are pretty simple.

  • Above all else, respect other people's point of view. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Flaming and abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Keep it clean and polite - there are members of our community who are under 18.

  • Acknowledge your sources - if you post items that are not your property e.g. articles or ideas from another web site, copyrighted pictures, etc - then always link back to the site or put a copyright line in your post e.g. "Wild Horses Painting copyright Jim Kelly 2007".

  • Check your sources - it is not helpful to pull information out of the air or guess at laws or services provided by organisations. Always check that your sources are up to date and can be validated in writing. Get information first hand from a person of authority or original web site related to the subject.

  • Spamming is not allowed.

  • If conflict arises, keep it off the forum. Use the pm system to sort it out or contact a moderator or the administrator for help.

  • Do not post graphic pictures or content unsuitable for viewing by children.

  • The moderators and administrator reserve the right to remove any item they deem offensive or inappropriate without warning.

  • Any advice, opinions or support services recommended on the forum are posted in the spirit of sharing and should not be taken as a professional consultation. SAIN, the administrator, moderators and members do not accept liability for any outcomes resulting from following advice or seeking help through any service advertised on the forum. You should always use your discretion and personal judgment when making any decision relating to your lifestyle or an animal's welfare. If in doubt, consult a professional in your local community.
